Campus Recreation Brand Guidelines.

As a graduate assistant for Campus Recreation, I identified the need for consistency in our marketing materials to establish a strong departmental brand. Using the brand guidelines provided by East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and our unique departmental branding, this brand book serves as a comprehensive guide for our marketing team when creating materials and helps new employees understand our department's culture.

Brand Content Strategy

ETSU Campus Recreation.

Promoting over 120+ events a semester, my graduate assistantship experience challenged my skills to create branded content strategies. I managed a team of three to create a comprehensive branded content calendar, production of the content and scheduling of the posts through Meta Business Suite. To handle marketing requests from five different program areas within our department efficiently, I designed and implemented a streamlined marketing process, significantly boosting our team's productivity.

Marketing Analytics

Designed by Julie Diaz

During my master’s program in Brand and Media Strategy at ETSU, I managed multiple projects for real clients. The most challenging and rewarding project was for our "Brand Analytics and Insights" course. In a team of three, we tracked, analyzed, and reported native social analytics for our client, ETSU Research Corporation to provide data-driven recommendations based on their goals. Effective communication, setting deadlines, and problem-solving were crucial to our success. Our client was pleased with our presentation and utilized the data in their strategy.

Response to Proposal (Brand Purpose)

Purpose Driven Brand Storytelling.

As Marketing Manager on a team of four, I led the distribution and amplification strategy for a proposal to the Special Olympics Winter Games 2025. We analyzed the creative brief, developed target audience personas, crafted the story, and created a strategy for distribution, including social media, landing pages, partner activations, sweepstakes, and film festivals.

Our pitch earned us the 'Purpose-Driven Brand Storytelling' certificate, while developing real-world experience.

Brand Storytelling

Road to Nationals.

This video was part of a series that was created to showcase the Wingate University national qualifying cross country athletes and served as a countdown to the NCAA Division II National Championship. With the support of my director and teammates, Wingate’s cross country marketing plan was awarded with a NACMA Bronze Award for Multi - Platform Branding Campaigns.
